Devin and McKenzie live in large, lovely home compliments of the U.S. government. It is very large by Japanese standards — even by American standards, it is pretty big with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. I have taken up residence in a very comfortable guest room, and off of the guest room is a shower room with a tub. There is not a toilet in that bathroom. The entire room is a shower with a drain in the floor. There is also a large bathtub in the room. Apparently, the Japanese tradition is to shower before taking a bath so one is clean getting into the tub. At any rate, I am spoiled with this unique shower room. When I get home I will be looking for more than just a shower/tub combo like I have in my bathroom!
