This small area boasts a variety of shops offering products made in Okinawa. There is everything from clothing made from traditional Okinawan fabric called Bingata, which is special resist dyed cloth usually made using stencils. There are small streets with fresh vegetables and fruit, as well as specialty foods made here that I was mostly too timid to try! There are many restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream stores. Okinawan glass can be purchased here but is very expensive. I did purchase some beautiful fabric here. Sometimes there are street performers as well.
