This was little more than a lunch stop on our drive from Vienna to Prague, but what a fascinating medieval town this was to explore. After a bit of a daunting climb to arrive inside the city walls, it was a treat to walk the cobbled lanes and even see the brown bears, who are still upholding the tradition made by the King of Bohemia that brown bears must guard the castle and town lake.
